What is Sprint Money Express? Is it a bank?
Sprint Money Express™ is definitely not a bank. It’s a new way of handling your cash and paying for financial services like international money transfer and bill payment, right from your phone. You can load cash or checks to your account and pay for in-app financial service transactions, or use your included Sprint Money Express MasterCard to pay anywhere MasterCard is accepted, for just about anything. Sprint Money Express accounts are issued by Sutton Bank. We do everything else. In other words, you get many of the benefits of a bank without having to deal with one!

How do I create an account?
You can create an account online or right from the app. You’re already on the website, so why don’t you go ahead and give it a whirl!
Who can use Sprint Money Express?
To be eligible, you must:
- Live in the United States
- Be at least 18 years of age (or older if you reside in a state where the age of majority is older)
- Have a Social Security number
What information is needed to create an account?
We only ask for some basic information to get you going. This includes your:
- Date of birth
- Email and phone number
- Billing address
- Social Security number
Do I really need to provide my Social Security Number?
How much does it cost to create an account?
Creating an account costs nothing. There are no hidden costs to having a Sprint Money Express account, but we are not completely fee-free. See our Schedule of Fees for more details.
I forgot my email address. How do I log in?
No worries, it happens! Just head over to the Forgot Password section and we’ll help you set up a new one in no time.
Can I link a credit card to Sprint Money Express?
You can’t link a credit card at this time, but it’s something we’re interested in and might do in the future. Stay tuned!
Can I have multiple accounts?
We allow each customer to open a single account. However, we may introduce family accounts in the future.
Are my funds FDIC-insured?
Yes they are. Even though you never have to deal with a bank, your Sprint Money Express funds are protected by one while Wipit provides you with all the financial services and payment convenience you need.
How do I close my account?
It only takes a phone call to Wipit Customer Care at (888) 973-9083. Give us a ring and we'll walk you through the process. We'll send you a check for the remaining account balance within two weeks.

How much does it cost?
Wipit Account Transfers are completely fee-free. That means you can send up to $500 in a single transfer to anyone else with a Sprint Money Express account for no additional charge.
The fee-free period is limited and set to expire December 31, 2013, though we may extend that period at our discretion.
How many account transfers can I make in a month?
You can send as many transfers as you want. Note that there are spending and load limits on Sprint Money Express accounts. See our Terms and Conditions for more details.

How do I add funds to my account?
You can add funds in two convenient ways:
Use Quick Check on your phone
Quick Check is a Sprint Money Express service that lets you load checks to your account using photos in the Sprint Money Express mobile app. It accepts virtually any personal, payroll or government check up to $2,000 for a flat fee of $4 per check. Once the check is processed and approved (usually in seconds), the funds are guaranteed and instantly available for use.

Visit a Boost Mobile location
You can load cash at any participating Boost Mobile Authorized Dealer. Simply visit one near you, provide the phone number registered to your account, and hand the cashier the amount you would like to load to your account, plus a $3 cash load fee. So, if you want to load $100 to your account, you would give the cashier $103 and $100 would be instantly available for use.

Is there a fee for adding funds?
Yes, there is a $4 fee for each approved Quick Check transaction and a $3 fee for adding cash at a Boost Mobile location.
When will my funds be available?
Instantly! Once your transaction has processed, your cash is guaranteed and can be used from the Sprint Money Express app, with your Sprint Money Express MasterCard, or it can be withdrawn from an ATM.
Cash loads at a Boost Mobile location are processed instantly. Quick Check loads are typically processed in just a few seconds.

How do I set up Direct Deposit?
Setting up Direct Deposit for your Sprint Money Express account is easy. You will need to complete the following steps:
- Verify that your employer or payroll department offers Direct Deposit service. If they don’t, you will not be able to load your Sprint Money Express account using this service.
- Verify that your Sprint Money Express account is active.
- Provide your Sprint Money Express account number and routing number to your payroll department. You will also need to decide how much of your paycheck you want to deposit per pay period: 100% of your check, a specific percentage of your check, or a specific dollar amount. For your convenience, you can log into your account here and click on “Direct Deposit” to print a form containing all of the information you will need to provide (some employers may require you to complete additional forms).
- Verify that the direct deposit amount you have selected will not exceed the maximum account balance limit.
How long will it take to set up Direct Deposit?
It typically can take between 1 to 2 pay periods before your paychecks will be deposited using Direct Deposit. Check with your payroll department for additional details.
Is there a fee to use Direct Deposit service?
There is no fee to load your Sprint Money Express account using Direct Deposit.
How much can I load to my account using Direct Deposit?
You will need to decide how much of your paycheck you want to deposit per pay period: 100% of your check, a specific percentage of your check, or a specific dollar amount. Your selected direct deposit amount must not exceed your Sprint Money Express maximum account balance limit.
How do I stop Direct Deposit service?
To stop the Direct Deposit service, contact your payroll department and inform them that you wish to stop automatically depositing money to your Sprint Money Express account. They will provide instructions about any additional required actions you may need to complete.
How can I verify the status of my Direct Deposit transaction?
Once the Direct Deposit service has been setup by your payroll department, you can view your deposit transactions online or in the Money Express mobile app. From the mobile app home screen, click on “Recent Transactions.” Your Direct Deposit transactions will be labeled as “Bank Loads.”
Can I use Direct Deposit to deposit my tax refund to my Sprint Money Express account?
Yes you can! Simply enter your Sprint Money Express unique account number and routing number on your tax form. Please note that you cannot load anyone else’s tax refund to your account - the social security number listed on the tax refund must match the Sprint Money Express account holder’s verified social security number.

How much does it cost to load my Sprint Money Express account by bank transfer?
Fees for bank transfers vary by bank. Wells Fargo and Bank of America charge $3 for three-day transfers and $10 for next-day transfers. Citibank and Chase do not charge fees for bank transfers. Visit your bank’s website or mobile app for additional pricing details.
When will my bank funds be transferred?
Most banks transfer funds within 3-5 business days, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Some banks, such as Wells Fargo and Bank of America, allow you to select delivery options such as next day transfer.
How much money can I transfer to my Sprint Money Express account?
Your bank transfer amount may not cause your Sprint Money Express account balance to exceed maximum balance limits. For example: if you have a Sprint Money Express account balance of $2,300.00 and a maximum balance limit of $2,500.00, you may not transfer more than $400 from your bank to your account. Banks may also enforce varying transfer limits of their own. Visit your bank’s website or mobile app for additional information about transfer limits.
Can I set up recurring bank transfers to my Sprint Money Express account?
Many banks that support transfers to your Sprint Money Express account will give you the option of setting up recurring, scheduled transactions if you prefer. For additional information, visit your bank’s website or mobile app.
Can I cancel a bank transfer?
Most banks will allow you to cancel scheduled bank transfers prior to the scheduled date. Some banks also provide additional options for cancellation depending on the status of the transfer. To learn more about canceling scheduled bank transfers, visit your bank’s mobile app or website.
What is account verification and how does it work?
Account verification is the process by which many banks verify that you are the account holder of the Sprint Money Express account to which you are trying to transfer money. Most banks will place two small deposits in your Sprint Money Express account. After you have viewed the deposits in your account, log into your bank account and enter the deposit amounts. By correctly entering the exact deposit amounts, you have proven to the bank that you have access to the Sprint Money Express account and are the legitimate account holder. Once you have completed verification, your bank will allow transfers to your Sprint Money Express account.
What information do I need to set up a bank transfer?
You will need to provide your Sprint Money Express account number, routing number and account type in order to set up a bank transfer. You can view this information by logging into your Sprint Money Express account here. Some banks may require some additional information during the transaction process.
How do I know if my Sprint Money Express account has been verified for bank transfers?
To find out if your Sprint Money Express account is ready to receive bank transfers, log into your bank account’s website or mobile app. Most banks will indicate whether your account verification process has been completed or is still pending. If your bank’s required verification process is still pending, you will not be able to transfer money to your Sprint Money Express account until it has been completed.
How do I add my Sprint Money Express account to my bank account’s list of accounts to which I can transfer money?
For specific instructions on how to add your Sprint Money Express account, click here and select your bank from the drop down list. For additional details or if you don’t see your bank listed, visit your bank’s website or mobile app to learn how you can set up bank transfers.
What is an ABA/Routing number?
Many banks reference an ABA or Routing number when talking about bank transfers. The ABA/Routing number is a 9 digit number assigned to a bank by the American Bankers Association (ABA) and is used to route transfers and other transactions. Think of it as a bank’s “address,” or the place to which you send transactions and funds.
How can I verify the status of my bank transfer transaction?
You can view your bank transfer transactions online or in the Sprint Money Express mobile app. From the mobile app home screen, click on “Recent Transactions.” Your bank transfer transactions will be labeled as “Bank Loads.”

Is there a limit to how many bills I can pay in a month?
Nope, you can pay an unlimited number of bills in a month. Note that there are spending limits on your Sprint Money Express account. For more information, see our Terms and Conditions.
When will my payment be processed?
You get to choose! We offer three convenient options:

What is the largest amount I can pay towards a bill?

How do I know my bill was paid?
We’ll send you a receipt by email that confirms your payment was submitted for processing. You can review payment details anytime in the Recent Transactions section of the app or by logging into your account online.
Can I cancel a payment once it’s been submitted?
Once you have submitted a payment for processing using Sprint Money Express, you will need to contact your biller in order to attempt to cancel a payment. You can reference the payment information in the receipt we email you once the transaction has been sent for payment. Note that different billers will have different policies on canceling payments and we are unable to cancel a payment for you.

Where can I download the app?
The Sprint Money Express app is available as a free download from the Google Play Store. What are you waiting for, get it now!
Do I have to have the app to have an account?
You can create a Sprint Money Express account online without the app, but you’re going to want it so you can start sending money, paying bills and more from your phone.

Is the app compatible with my phone?
It is as long as your phone runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or later.

How do I top-up a wireless account from the app?
It used to take a trip to the store to top-up a prepaid wireless account. Sprint Money Express changes that by allowing you to do it directly from your phone using the Sprint Money Express app. Just tap the Mobile Top-Up option and tell the app which carrier and product you want. You can top-up a friend or family member's wireless phone and choose from a wide variety of domestic and international carriers.
Can I top-up an international wireless account?
Absolutely. In fact, you can top-up mobile phones on many of the top international carriers. Select the Mobile Top-Up option from the app home screen to see a list of all available international carriers.
What is the cost to top-up a wireless account?
It’s free to do a domestic top-up, including PIN products. International top-up products prices vary, but can be checked easily using the app before you make your purchase. Just tap the Mobile Top-Up button from the home screen and select the carrier and product you want to check.
How do I know my top-up order was processed?
We will send you a receipt by email confirming your order. You can view your top-up purchase details anytime in the app or by logging into your account online.

How do I transfer money using the app?
Sending money is simple using the Sprint Money Express app. Search pickup locations quickly using the locator and confirm prices before committing to an order. To start a new order, select the destination country, the amount you're sending (up to $999 per transfer), the currency being delivered, and the location where the funds should be sent.
The app will walk you through some additional information you will need to provide about the recipient to ensure a safe pickup. You are able to review and authorize the order before it's final.
Once the order has been submitted, you'll receive an email receipt that contains a transaction PIN for you to provide to the recipient that permits them to pick-up the funds at the location you selected (usually within minutes). You can even check recent transfers anytime in the app so you always know the status of your orders.
How much money can I send at one time?
You can send up to $999 in a single order. Money transfers do count towards your account spending limit, which you can learn more about in our Terms and Conditions.
Is there a fee for money transfers?
There is a fee for transferring money, but it varies because it depends on several factors. Our prices are generally low and you can check them anytime in the app before your order is final.
How does my recipient pick up the money?
You will need to let your recipient know where to pick up the funds you sent. Once there, the recipient will need to provide the location with the following:
- Valid identification
- The PIN for the order
The PIN will be included in the receipt that we email to you following your order. Just copy that and send it to your recipient so the funds can be picked up.

Is there a fee to send an eGift card?
No, you are not charged any fees to use the gift card service.
What retailers are available?
We offer eGift cards from a range of leading brands, including top retail stores and entertainment providers. Check the Sprint Money Express app to see the full list.
How do I purchase an eGift card?
Purchasing an eGift card is simple! Select the retailer, choose the amount, and enter info for the person you want to send to. Then, include an optional note to the recipient, review your order, and finalize your purchase by entering your Sprint Money Express account password.
Can I return an eGift card?
No, unfortunately eGift Cards are non-refundable.
Can I send a physical gift card?
No, only electronic gift cards are available at this time.
Can I send an eGift card to someone outside of the US?
No, eGift card recipients must live within the US.
Do eGift cards expire?
Expiration dates vary depending on retailer. Refer to the eGift card notification email for more information.
How do I pay for an eGift card?
The total amount of the eGift card will be deducted from your Sprint Money Express account balance.
How does the recipient receive the eGift card?
An email notification will be sent to the email provided at the time of purchase. The email will contain a code, PIN, or barcode for immediate redemption.
How do I know if the recipient received the eGift card?
Please contact the recipient directly to verify receipt of the eGift card.
The recipient never received the eGift card. Can I resend it?
Ask the recipient to check their email spam folder in case the eGift card notification was sent there. If they still don't see it, there is a "Send Email Again" option in your transaction history details that allows you to resend the email notification to the recipient.
I sent an eGift card to the wrong email address, how can I correct this?
There is a "Send Email Again" option in your transaction history details that allows you to resend the email notification. You may edit the recipient's email address before resending the eGift card.
Can the eGift card be used in store?
Redemption options vary by retailer and are displayed in the app after you select a specific retailer. The email notification will also contain instructions on how and where to redeem the eGift card.
How does the recipient use the eGift card?
Depending on the retailer, the email notification will contain an eGift card code, PIN, or barcode, as well as instructions on how to redeem their gift.
Can I use eGift cards to pay for transactions in the Sprint Money Express app?
No, you cannot use an eGift card to make purchases in the Sprint Money Express app.
Can I store my gift cards in Sprint Money Express?
No, this feature is currently not supported.
The gift card code/PIN isn't working. What should I do?
For inquiries regarding eGift card redemption, please contact the eGift card retailer's customer support team.
What do I do if my eGift card balance is inaccurate?
Please contact the retailer of your eGift card to resolve any balance discrepancies.
Is there a limit on how many eGift cards I can purchase?
No, there is no limit. Feel free to send as many as you like!

MasterCard Prepaid Card
How do I activate my card?
Your card will arrive in the mail 7-10 business days after you’ve registered your account. It will include a sticker on the front with a phone number. Call that number and it will walk you through the activation process.
How do I change my PIN?
Call Wipit Card Services at (888) 973-9083 and we’ll hook you up with a new one right away.
Can I use my card at an ATM?
We partner with MoneyPass, giving you access to thousands of ATMs nationwide. Find an ATM near you using the Sprint Money Express app. Your first MoneyPass ATM withdrawal of each month is free and every one after that is only $2 per withdrawal. You can even request cash back at many merchants when using your Sprint Money Express MasterCard.
You can also access your money at non-MoneyPass ATMs that accept MasterCard, but note that those ATM vendors may charge their own set of fees on top of our $2.
If you try to withdraw an amount larger than your available balance, your transaction will be declined. We do charge a small fee of $0.50 for each decline.

Why is the amount I was charged different than the purchase?
It's common for businesses to submit a pending amount for a purchase that is higher than what you actually spent, but there’s no reason to be worried. It will correct itself within three business days after you have authorized the purchase. If you have a question about an incorrect transaction paid with your Sprint Money Express card, call (888) 973-9083 for help.
Can I get a replacement card?
We all lose things. Whether you misplaced your card, damaged it somehow or it simply expired, call us up at (888) 973-9083 and we’ll get you a new one. A new card will arrive by mail within 7-10 business days.
There is a $2.50 fee to replace your card. Add $25 if you want rush delivery.
Can I use my card outside of the United States?
Your Sprint Money Express MasterCard or Visa Prepaid Card can be used anywhere that MasterCard or Visa is accepted, except for the following countries:
- Burma (Myanmar)
- Congo (Democratic Republic of)
- Cote d' Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
- Czech Republic
- North Korea
Do I need to do anything before using the card internationally?
Your card is ready to use internationally the moment it is activated. Note that cash can only be loaded in the United States, so make sure to load your account before you leave the country.
Does it cost anything to use my card internationally?
We charge a 3% surcharge fee of your transaction total.
Can I use my card at ATMs in approved countries?
Your card can be used to make purchases and payments anywhere MasterCard is accepted in any approved country. It cannot be used to withdraw cash or to check account balance at any international ATM, or to receive cash back at a merchant location.

What is Quick Check and how does it work?
Quick Check is an easy way to load checks to your Sprint Money Express account. Just photograph your check with your smartphone and submit it using the Sprint Money Express app.
Once your check is submitted, it goes through a quick approval process that usually takes a few seconds. Once approved, your funds are guaranteed and instantly available in your Sprint Money Express account. It’s much faster and just as secure as cashing a check in a store!
Quick Check service is powered by Certergy, a nationwide specialty consumer reporting agency governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
What kind of checks are accepted?
Quick Check accepts virtually any check you can imagine, including personal, payroll and government checks. So whether it’s a check from a friend, your work, your tax return or any other check, you’re covered.

Are there any limits?
Quick Check supports checks up to $2,000. We will sometimes make exceptions for greater amounts, but only on a limited basis at our discretion.
Is there a fee for using Quick Check?
You only pay one $4 fee per approved check. So, let’s say you submit a check for $100. A total of $96 will be loaded to your account and it will be available instantly.
When will my funds be available?
All checks go through a very quick approval process that usually takes seconds, although occasionally it may take a few minutes. During that time, we make sure your check is correct and that everything matches up. Once approved, your funds are guaranteed and instantly available in your Sprint Money Express account.
What do I do with my check after I submit it?
It’s a good idea to hold onto your check for 10 days, even after your transaction has been processed and approved. Then, we recommend shredding and disposing the check for security purposes.
How do I know my check was processed?
We will send you a receipt by email confirming your transaction and you’ll receive a notification sent to your mobile phone letting you know that your check was processed. You can also check the status of your pending and processed Quick Check loads anytime in the Sprint Money Express app. Completed transactions will also display when you log into your online account.
Do I need to sign my check before I photograph it?
Yes, this is important! If you submit a photograph of your check without your signature, your Quick Check transaction will be declined.
Can I load more than one check at a time?
Quick Check allows you to load only one check at a time.
Can I cancel a Quick Check transaction?
Quick Check transactions are usually processed in seconds. Once your check is approved or declined, the transaction cannot be cancelled.

Your check may have been declined for a number of different reasons. For more information about your specific check transaction, you can contact Certegy at (855) 585-8325 regarding your decline.
